Does anyone have any new suggestions on weight loss? I once had a doctor tell me that there is no magic program that works, if there was, there wouldn't be a million programs out there, there would only be one.

There are a few things you can cut out of your normal diet that will help you lose weight. Cut out sugary drinks, heavily processed foods, eat more fruits and veggies. Drink more water, and don't eat late. You could also try eating several smaller meals rather than 2 or 3 big ones. These are things I've done and it helped me lose 35 pounds.

My boyfriend and I jut survived a bet. I gave up cafeine for 30 days- in all forms- and he gave up meat. I suffered the worst migraines of my life and he lost 25 pounds. Shortly after the bet's completion he went back to eating meat and has gained the weight back. There was no change in physical exertion, only slight modifications of eating venues. Vegetarian options that are bearable are hard to find at fast food places. Conclusions: You don't NEED meat with every meal. Eat some vegetables and sit at a table in a restaurant to eat them. Before you sit down to eat, drink a glass of water. Are you still hungry? Pepogest is a great tool if you get that bloating feeling after eating and the chewable Nauzease is great if you overeat. Don't eat in FRONT OF THE TV

I used to be very heavy. The thing that I think works the best is substitution. Like when you cook mashed potatoes used chicken broth instead of milk and butter. On toast use jelly or low fat cream cheese instead of butter. Be creative. when you eat salad every day it gets boring and you go back to the junk food. And let yourself indulge so then you don't go overboard.

imagine the money we could make if we could discover the magic pill. i know that diet and exercise is the key. also smaller portions. i have skipped lunch, just having a mid morning snack and eating a big supper and i have lost 27 pounds. i am back to my normal self, 110 lbs.

i think the best option is medical surgery. Gastric band. the thing we put on our stomach of the size of a golf ball. Or just reducing to half the stomach size. i think its harmless and with the medical help you can heal your body and mind fast. i just believe that diets are long and too painy and dont have good results if you dont be all days stressed to make it right.
