Do you give money to your spouse?

I'm the one who handles money in the family. After my husband gives me his earnings I give him his allowance. I pay all the bills with our joint earnings and save the rest in a joint savings account.

there is nothing left of my wages to give him after I've paid for fuel to get to work, the mortgage and bought the groceries. So, no.

I give to my wife all that I have after I pay the bills. I have no need for money after I pay the bills. I do not really care about money but when you have to pay bills you must pay them and the only way to pay them is with money. I would have been perfectally content with the old bartering system of paying for thing since that would eliviate the need for money and you could get all your stuff through work. hi raikkonenjr. why not, they give us money and we give them money as we were married. lotsof people do that. I was working and he was not so yes I gave him money but no I wil not tell you how much.here in the US we sort of do not discuss our money situations and its uncool to ask that type of question. All I can say is if I needed money my husband gaveit to me, and vice versa for me to him.

After being married 22 years I put $2,000 in my wifes account to help pay bills and I pay the rest. She also works full time. My concerns, to much credit card bill's.

I have a live in girlfriend for a year now so we are quite close to married. I would say about 1/3 of the income is going to her now with about 1/2 going towards our monthly bills. The rest we try to save.
