Your body after death...does it matter to you?

Does it matter to you what is done with your body after death? Some people have very strong feelings as to what they want done after they die. Cremation, burial, even donating one's remains to science. Would you prefer to have your organs donated, if possible? I'd like to hear different views on this!

hi Lavender_Breeze,Surely It doesn't matter what is done with our body, we don't know anything afer we die,but the left know,Do our relatives accept what is done with our body? Sometimes It is not a thing of ourself. And I will chose cremation, use my ashes to plant a tree,Is this a fantastic way? my life is over, but another life begins.

Of course it won't matter after we die. But to some people it does matter now - and they choose to let loved ones know what it is they prefer be done with their body.
See - even you have an opinion - you want to start new life.

I am fine with whatever people want to do with me EXCEPT for being buried in a cemetery. I understand why people do it, but I do not want to have to pay for a little plot of ground to lay forever. I don't want to take up space. I would like my body to return to the earth, not be preserved in concrete.

After I die, I figure I'm done with my body. Let some Gross Anatomy students run their fingers through my organs.

Not really because I wouldn't need it anymore. I'm not really concerned with my body now. It's a state of awareness that has consumed me since I was younger. I wouldn't mind having my organs donated if I can help someone out.

I am an organ donor and love that that might save another life . Something about buring alive with the ashes just always rubbed me the wrong way . Would be nice though to have my ashes in the big ocean that I adore , so I dont know yet .

Well, I think I'd be ok whatever happens to my body. None that it would matter to me by that time. However, I'll probably leave the options open to my family with however they want to remember me.
I could be an extension of someone else's life by donating organs. I could be cremated so I could stay home. Or just normally buried.

I prefer to have the body of one should be processed according to his faith, whether it is creamation or burrial. All these things developed during the evolution of civilization. Respecting everybody's faith is good. All the faiths are good and most respectable.
