I am a phlebotomist(alias vampire, blood sucker) and this next week I get to travel to another area of the state I live in. My daughter lives there so I get to spend time with her. Of course, I am taking my laptop with me so that I can keep up with myLot and other things that I do on line.
What do you for a living and would you consider returning to school to learn a new trade?

Well, I just graduated in December. And now I don't really know what I could do with my degree, especially since it seems like most jobs want you to have like tons of experience, but I still don't get that, since they also want you to have a degree. So anyway, I am a singer but just getting started with that as well.
I think it's so cool that you are a phlebotomist! I have thought about going to school to do that since before I started University, but I decided to go away for that. Now I kinda wish I had at least took the classes for phlebotomy and gotten certified, at least I would feel like I had a career choice now. Although, recently I have been reading about other Allied Health careers, and the one that I am really interestedd in going back to school for is Surgical Technologist.
It sounds like it would be hard, but most jobs are hard, and that's why you have to go to school; but it sounds like a very interesting job, I even watched some videos of surgery online to see if I could handle watching it (I know some are squeemish), and it honestly didn't both me, I watch fictional and non-fictional medical shows all the time, so I'm kinda conditioned to think it's interesting, and not scary or gross.
