How do you feel when somebody does not respect you?

Hi ramyashreesk! I am glad to know that you are such a good person my friend. I do believe that we are all different from each other and respecting each others' individuality is something we should really learn. If someone is rude or impolite to me, I would be able to forgive and overcome such attitude but that does not mean I will be always that forgiving if that same person keeps on treating me that way over and over again. The first time, I can always forgive and understand but if there will be a second and a third, then I think I will be just avoiding that person if I can't talk sense to him or make him understand that what he is doing is really hurtful. i really dont understand people with no respect. it costs nothing and its as easy as hell. how do people get like that? but they are what they are. im just glad im not!

Hello,Ramyashree!I don't bother if some one does not pay respect to me.If he pays respect i will not go to heaven or i will never go to hell if does not respect.there are some egoistic people who don't feel comfortable to pay respect to the elderly persons or relations.one such person is my second son in law who pays no respect to us.but than i don't mind.he will reap the consequences.i always try to forgive him and pray God to give him good thoughts and change himself.thanx.

I will definitely ignore that person for the time being till the person has calm him/herself down.. I will never respect a person if he/she does not respect me.. everyone deserves a respect in life but the matter is if they would like to be respected, they will have to set a good example by respecting people back.. :)

I will feel bad. And I try to avoid the person as much as possible. Even if he's in the good mood, i will avoid him or her altogether. He/She should be more mindful of his/her actions.

I also do not like it when rude people are rude to me and when they are rude to children who do not deserve it, I am angry. I also respect every one. I have said things to people who have taken their turn in line when it was not their turn that I was sorry they were in such a hurry to go when it was not their turn. I have also spoken up for children who are standing in line and not getting waited on. Just last night at my granddaughter's softball game a woman said something to my daughter after my daughter had said something to me. I didn't agree with the way my daughter handled it, but the woman was taken aback when my daughter told her to shut up in an unfriendly way. I figured out that the man my daughter made the comment about was rude throughout the entire game and her comment was accurate!

Its hard for me to forgive and forget. every thing even when i do something wrong to someone or say somthing wrong i cant forgive myself not the person who did it to me. its very hard. I dont know but i can tell that i get demotivated and negativity srounds me from every where. you are a nice person thats why you are able to forgive and forget. dont change. best of luck.

I think that is everywhere rude people. They are lost in their own world and everyone one the outside don't really matter to them. But you have to be a bigger person sometimes and still be nice. If your avatar is your real pic, your a very beautiful lady. That's if it's really you and not just a pic you selected of someone. If it is a pic who is the lady that you choose for our avatar. If it's really you don't be offended by what i have said.

I've always kept these things in mind as I go through life. 1. Not everyone is going to like you. 2. Not everyone will be kind to you. 3. Not everyone is going to agree with you.

I do not show respect to those who don't earn it. This is how I was brought up. Yes people have bad days and bad things happen, but this does not mean you have to be rude to someone else. I know a lot of people who see the bright side to everything, and can always act happy even during their darkest hour.

I feel as if my existence doesn't matter at all. If i give respect to an individual and i don't receive respect in return than it hurts, knowing your trying your best to be polite and patient with them and yet...their disrespect. I especially get frustrated when it is a family member that does not give me respect. For example my cousin and my brother treat my like I'm a used tissue; worthless. I just hope that when people get the message that their being disrespectful they change their awful ways.

Oh!!!that's awful when somebody donot respect you. Of course you don't feel good when you are not respected. I for one would be disappoineted when I am not respected. I think it is a common feeling. But the most common saying says, do unto others as you want others do unto you. So, if you want to be respected, try to be respectful too. Have a good day.

i feel very bad when someone insult me i feel like that i kill him or never talked with him

Hi ramyashreesk, its not my problem anymore if he/she dont respect me, as long as I respect others and done nothing wrong with them, it is just ok with me, we cannot go to them and tell them to respect us because they are unrespectful person so we cannot tell them what to do. they know what they are doing. and maybe they enjoy doing it. have a nice day to you and thanks.

Dear friend, It you really nice to know that you forget and forgive uncomfortable attitude to you. I hope people are of different kinds, some need to respected some may not to know this is another better fact. Some do know whom to respect and when to respect may be how to respect. I hope that person might be one among those who donot know how to respect, whom to respect, and when to respect. Any I respect and reach and everyone who needed that. Also do not respect those who do not need it. I do uncomfortable if I needed to be respected and get rejected without any specific reason. If it happens I may console my self thinking that that person might have his own reasons why I was not respected. I never think over it and scarp my thoughts.

It is something that means a great deal to me and I feel very low when I am treated poorly . I always will blame myself, and wonder how hard it can be . Always think maybe if I was someone more sassy I would get the respect I deserve . Don't get me wrong I am talking about sometimes . I dont think there is anyone that will respect someone all the time , and I hate when you are quote someones punching bag ! That really can take a toll . I know I hear alot of people say you earn respect . I just treat people how they deserve to be treated . ( good way I mean ) I agree men can be well men . And stress really is a killer and the way some can act .

I feel bad at first, then think that people are different and just accept it as it is. We can not change people and their attitude. What you say. People are of different nature and also we.

hi sometimes i experienced the same situation of you. to trace the origine, i think it arises from some people are cringe to bigwig or power. if we are nobody, they will leave us or treat us impolitely. but the situation will be changed when we have made some progess. therefore, we have to strive on self-improvement and achievement somewhere. that`s my understanding, hehe...

if someone doesnt respect me.....i dont care....i will remain teh same for people.....bad for bad ones....good for good ones....:P
