Attention All Associated Content Writers

I know there are quite a few of us here on mylot who write for Associated Content. I've been trying to think of a way we can help each other out. A structured way to keep track of each other. I finaly thought of something and wanted to run the idea by you all and see what you thought.
Every AC writer on mylot could give me their name and content producer page link. I would also like you to include a short blurb about yourself.
I would then put all the links, with the blub, on my blog. Once it is finished I could put a link on my profile page here just for the specific Associated Content producers page. Others could do the same I reckon. Get the link to my blog page with all the CP pages and put it on your profile here at mylot.
I figured if we could get this to work, then when any new people come around asking if there are AC writers here, we'd have a list all together for them. Then they could go look through our work.
So, what do you all think of the idea?

Hello sunnflr.
This sounds like an interesting idea. Is it legal to put links in myLot discussions? I see so many articles that have been deleted and I can't figure out why. Well, I'll go along with this.

Pearl Grace is my pen name. I've been writing ever since I won second place in the short story contest in the local newspaper when I was a sophmore in high school. Throughout college, I honed my writing skills. In graduate school, I learned how to conduct in-depth research and summarize the facts. Currently, I write for several writing websites and have sold several articles on the internet.

When I wrote the mylot staff and ask about putting links in discussions, they told me it was ok if someone ask for the link. Otherwise don't do it.

There are several Yahoo groups and such set up by AC writers who swap views...I recall peeking into them but never remembered to check them and don't recall where or what they are.
I tend to re-comment anyone who visits my articles. However, you probably won't get me to check some outside blog our source in regards to getting other people's links, I just bounce into Mylot on occasion and if people want a comment back they can find me on AC, don;t seem to have trouble getting views.

I sent a friend request and I added you on AC to favorites but I will send you a link. I'm up for the task and would be in favor of it. I've had a bit of a struggle with promoting with AC but it's all right. I'll send it via message and if that doesn't work, let me know and I'll see what I can do to take care of it.

hello, I'm up for anything that could increase my AC hits. I write a lot of meterology and political articles. New to mylot. My about me:
I spend my time expanding my vast treasure chest of knowledge. This is when I'm not doing the family thing or working my "real job". I Love horror novels and movies. Have been a news junkie since was just a wee little lad and have a fascination with the power of nature.

This is a great idea! My AC link is on my profile, and as far as a blurb....hmmm
I am a stay at home mom that does freelance webdesign on the side. I enjoy playing games, and love to write on different topics that come to mind.
I guess thats good enough huh? I hate writing something good about myself heheheh.

I just wanted to say that I know something about having a preemie. My son was born at 24 weeks. He was on oxygen and a heart monitor for the first 8 months of his life. Fortunately he had no other problems.

A list sounds great to me, the link to my AC page is on my profile page here.
If someone does make some sort of list, I will go and read your pages and subscribe to each of you, and hope everyone else would do the same.
I was going to try to make a list of sorts myself, but found this discussion first. Go for it!

I take it from your comment that you DO NOT want to be added to the blog because you get enough page views already and don't think its a good idea?

It's a good idea. It would also be a great way for myLot members to go and view a couple of different writers every few days and help boost all of our views. I'll send you a friend request and then send my AC info for you.

I am a work from home mom who loves to read and write. I have found the freedom of working for myself and I am soo addicted! Love life and critters and the pursuit of knowledge!
That about sums me up, kind of sad it didnt take as long as I had hoped, lol.

This is good. I haven't had many people find my articles. And I don't want to complain about it, but it would be nice if more people read my stuff. It's good to work together and support one another. Plus that would help our income out a lot, lol.

I will send the friend request and then you can send me your AC link and a little about yourself so I can put it on the blog.
I don't know that you will need it, but it might help get a few more page views if someone sees the blog and likes your blurb about yourself. And, if someone ask who other AC writers are here on mylot we will have a place to point them to.

I really like that idea. I just joined up today and have a few things to submit but have no idea how to get hits. It'd be very helpful to have this here. I'm going to send over a friend request. ^_^
