What's your best hommade cookie recipie?

I like homemade peanut butter cookies which are one and half cups of flour, 1tsp baking soda, one half cup of peanut butter, one half cup of brown sugar packed, one half cup of granulated white sugar, one half cup of shortening and one egg. You mix all the wet ingredients together, stir in the dry ingredients and bake at 350 degrees for eight to ten minutes yummy! you should also dip a fork in flour and flaten them before putting in oven.

Peanut butter cookies: 1 cup peanut butter 1 cup sugar 1 egg mix, drop by spoonfuls on cookie sheet. Bake at 375 for 12 minutes.

I have a few cookies that I absolutely love. One being chocolate chip cookies. The basic recipe I am sure everyone knows. Another one is shortbread cookies. MMMM so yummy. And another one being oreo cookies. Oreo Cookies 2 cake mixes (any kind will do) 2/3 cup margarine 4 eggs dash of vanilla extract mix together and let sit for 1 hour. Roll into balls and pat. Cook @ 350 for about 12 - 15 minutes unitl cooked. Place on racks and cool completely. Filling: 8oz cream cheese 2 teaspoons margarine 2 cups icing sugar Frost and make into oreo cookies. Enjoy.

I use to make wedding , anniversary, birthday and any number of miscellaneous cakes. But for the life of me i can't bake cookies! When my girls were young i truly tried but in the end my 7yr/o daughter started doing it herself out of pure self preservation! I tell her she should be glad that i was so inept because now everybody wants her to make the cookies.LOL. My favorite that she makes has peanut butter, pecans and chocolate chips in them but i have no idea how she does it.
