In china, people always do not want their cats to be a mouser, for they think the mouse are covered with series of pathogens, they just prefer their cats sleep and eat, eating something even better than the owners may have
sorry for my poor english

My cats are huge mousers thats for sure. We do have one cat that will taunt the poor little thing. Mind you I guess they are not that poor little thing. They are nasty little filthy creatures. But anyway she tortures it and it's still alive when she comes and puts it in my lap. Yes my lap no one elses lap but mine.

Sherbert is my mouser! She seems to be successful at LEAST once a month... that I SEE anyway! I call it her "rent" that she pays! She brings it to me, shows me it proudly, then promptly starts eating it!!! THAT is when I LEAVE!!! YUCH!
Bucky HAS brought me a mouse.... once. But he's nearly 12 now, and I don't expect him to be as successful as 4-yr old Sherbert is.
Paco has NEVER been a mouser. As the lady from the shelter said when we adopted him, "he's a LOVER not a fighter." And he truly is. I don't mind! He is my lover-boy, indeed!

the cat we have now, molly, is not a mouse catching cat. she is a lap cat. she's good for curling up on my mother's lap. she's temperamental too.
