Hello dear shoffy. To reach the age of eighteen in China means that you are now into the stage of adulthood. To be an adult, you will be more responsible for things and people around you. You will have to take the responsibility of many more things than you used to. You are on the way to getting more mature mentally and physically. The meaning of being an adult is firstly you have reached the age that your country accepts as being an adult, also that you have certain rights at that age that is not open to non-adults, when you reach the age of adulthood you are supposed to be sensible and have stable thoughts but I don't think anyone really feels an adult when you are around your parents as to them you will always be their child...
