Hello mylot friends,
I was hoping that some of you might have some advice on how to deal with migrains. I have been suffering from them for years and I haven't been able to get them under control. I've been seen by doctors about them. I've had cat scans and m.r.i.'s done, according to the doctors, everything is fine. When I get migrains, I can barely function. The pain is unbareable, might eyesight is affected....migrains just put a complete stop to whatever I have going on in my life. So if there is anyone who has this problem and you have some advice on dealing with them or some ways to alleviate the pain, PLEASE respond. Thanks so much.

I started out with headaches in 1986. They told me they were migarines. By the end of 1986 I was having a constant headache. It would get worse and when it did get worse, it would make me totally unable to do anything. I could not walk or talk even. I have a constant headache even today. One thing that makes it worse for me is MSG. It seems to be in so many foods. We no longer purcahse mixes or prepared foods from the store. Good luck with yours.

I have had them on and off for a few years. I use Excedrin Migraine at the first sign of a migraine coming on. The sooner the better. If I wait, it will go full blown with the nausea,etc.. Also found that a dark room and a few minutes lying down helps mine.
Ive also heard that Gatorade helps a headache. I havent tried it yet, but they claim it helps

I too suffered migraines for some years as all the girls in my family seem to do, until someone told me to take just a little bit of apple cider vinegar in water, every morning, both me and my sister do this and our migraines never happen unless we go off the apple cider vinegar for awhile...you only need alittle bit in even an eye glass and fill the rest up with water, my sister takes hers in honey because the taste is not too good but it works, apparantly it is a blood thinner...it really does work.
