how are all these people getting so many replies for their queries?

I do not know how interesting the discussions started by you are.Basically,i'd like to join those funny ones

i think that depends on whether the question is popular. or whether the question is funny. hehe, i also posted a few questions and received some replies. anyway, it is glad to see other's reply to my question.

I think its got more to do with the number of friends you have. When I was new and had lesser friends I would hardly get 0-6 responses for my discussions. Now the number has gone from 20-60. I think its because I have more than a 100 friends on mylot.

It all seems to depend on (a) the question being asked and (b) how people are feeling at the moment they read your question. Sometimes a good question will get few replies while something incredibly silly will get lots and lots of replies.

I go through a few questions very quickly when I respond to discussions. Is it so long that I don't want to read it, if I don't want to read it I don't respond. Is it the same post I've already seen 20 times today just reworded? If it is, I move on. Do I have anything to say about it? If not I don't post. I guess the people who are getting lots of posts are answering those for me. It will probably vary from person to person what sells them on making a post, but I would imagine some of my criteria are shared with others.
