Last only so long
And the gravitiy
Of impatience
Devours all inclinations
Of submission
And sooner or later
Anger and common sense
Have nothing to do
With everything
While timid ignorance
Fades into
Seething clarity
And enlightment coats
Weary wings...
...Temperance flies again.
