That awful Cellulite and Caffeine

I didn't know until today that the active ingredient in Anti Cellulite creams is caffeine. I found this out after reading some people use coffee grounds to treat it rather than investing $$ into the expensive creams. It was a suggestion in a being frugal website that caused me to do some looking. So I found how to use the coffee grounds and that on top of the caffeine being in them they also act as an exfoliant. The instructions call for used coffee grounds so...make your self a cup of coffee and reuse the grounds! Here’s how: The used grounds work better if they’re warm. So its best to warm the coffee grounds in the microwave. * Make sure they are not too hot as you do not want to scorch your skin. - Put some newspaper on the floor of your bathroom. or stand in the bathtub - Mix about a quarter-cup of warm used coffee grounds with a tablespoon or so of olive oil. Stand on the paper and apply the coffee mixture to your cellulite areas using your hands or a loofah mitt. Don’t worry if a lot of the coffee mixture falls to the floor, enough will stick to your skin to do the trick. ****I used baby oil instead as i didnt have olive oil. - Wrap the area in plastic wrap and allow to remain on for several minutes. -Remove wrap and brush off excess coffee mixture. Shower with warm water. Supposed to be most effective if repeated twice a week.

I do it but differently. I drink a lot of coffee and took about half cup of used up coffee grounds instead of throwing it into the garbage and mixed it with a very cheap body cream, I added about 4 tablespoons of cream but consistence should be quite thick. I keep it in a container in the bathroom, it looks ugly and it smells even worst but it works wonders! I use it everyday before showering, I've never done the wrapping, but I'm not going to, I'm too impatient, lol! It really improves the skin in a few days. BTW I started using it after I saw it on a TV show.
