Hello, dear friends. It's hot here, everyday we want to have a bath,my brother just goes to the river for bath, that's what i admire. It's very comfortable and funny to swim in the river, but i can't .When i was a child,i tried to learn, but in vain,i think i will try again.
So can you swim? When did you learn to swim?Where to swim?
Nice day :)

Yes, I learnt to swim at around age 7. My sister and I were sent on a crash course, which are quite common here, where they teach you swim in a week. I didn't really like the class as they push you quite hard, and they pushed me in the water a few times and made me swim without arm bands when I really didn't want to!!
So it was a stressful week, but I could swim at the end of it .
I'm so glad that I learnt to swim though, as I really like it now. It's a great hobby to have and it's really relaxing.
I think it sounds so nice that your brother can just swim in the river. It must be lovely having a river nearby where you can do that. If you want to swim you should. However old you are it's never too late, it's something you can learn at any age.

I learnt to swim from a very early age and so I am a fairly confident swimmer, I was always swimming before I ended up with four children and would go every week. Nowadays it is hard to find the time to go, or the energy! I sometimes go swimming when I am on holiday though weather permitting.

I can swim, but I am not as good at it as I used to be, when mu grandma was a teenager, someone pushed her into a pool, and she almost drowned,so she has always been afraid of water, and she raised my mom to be afraid of water, but my mom said she was going to make sure I learned to swim,so at times my dad would try to teach me,at other times my aunt would try to teach me,and also one of my moms friends would try to teach me,and through all the teaching I somehow learned to swim, and I also learned to dive, and I used to be pretty good at diving.

I only learned to swim when I was 19, thanks to our swimming classes in college. When I was still studying I would always go on a swim on Wednesdays at a pool near us. At least the pool in our village is cleaner than the one in our school.

I can swim enough to save myself if I fall into a lake or river or get out to far. I can swim across the deep end but scares me and don't do it if I don't have to. I can't swim well enough to save anyone so I just tell people I can't swim. I don't do lake or river swiming if the bottom isn't sandy or i can't see the bottom.

I can swim... but the problem is... my arms get tired easily... so after a few strokes... i will just stop and take a breath or two... i learned how to swim years ago... since we would always go to the beach or swimming pool resort every summer... but i never get to practice it on a regular basis... i always admire those who can really swim fast and far...

Even if I'm already 23 years old, honestly I really don't know how to swim even the basics.lol. I'm always planning to enroll in a swimming school but then I'm always hesitant .

Yep. I've been able to swim since I was very young.
I always loved the water, still do.
I can't imagine not being able to swim, I do have a friend or two that can't. It seems like such a foreign thing to me... not being able to swim.

I of course can swim. And i am good at it.When i was a child in my hometown, there is a river near my village. It is a beautiful clean small river.I did learn the swimming skills from the older boys than me.At the beignning,I could not swim well, after a about 15 days practice,I could swim with several kinds of movements. That is really great.I never forget it.
