i have a problem with my nokia 3110c

hi guys,
i'm using nokia 3110c mobile handset for 6 month. this set has a very good edge modem of class 10. and i'm using this set as a modem. now the problem is that when i use any mamory card my handset goes to restart. restart is running until shutdown of the set. if the card is removed then restart does not occured. the mobile set mamory only 8 mb thats why without memory card i can't use my set properly. i can't take picture, and can't heard mp3 songs as well. guys did you feel this kind of problem in your life with your handset. if then please share with me..

Did you ever drop your phone down? I am using my Nokia 3110 C for the past 8 months. I dropped it once, and from then on, if I switch off my mobile, then when it starts it takes almost half an hour to register the simcard. It keeps telling simcard registration failed. So I have to remove the battery and clean and then insert the sim again. Yes without a memory card it is very hard to use the phone. And moreover, just check your memory card too. If it is corrupted you will get this problem.
