this 4th of July, I woke up feeling off. I didn't feel sick, but just off. I knew deep inside that something wasn't right. All day I felt this way, then that night, I received the phone call. My father-in-law had died. I knew it. I knew it all day that there was a tilt in my universe. He was a good man who had a wonderful life and a loving family. I will miss him greatly.

My condolences. Sorry to hear about your father-in-law. Being the good man that he is, I hope he will have a wonderful transition to the after life. On the other hand, it's hard to ignore that nagging feeling you get and when you get it, it's just frustrating because you can't identify right away what could go wrong.

My father-in-law, Richard, had a rich life, four loving children and five grandchildren through his first marrage and I can't count how many though his second marrage. He was loved by all. Thank you for your kind words. I think there are a lot of people out there that have these feeling. Sometimes you can tell what is going to happen and then other times you just know that something isn't quite right. We live in Vigrinia and Richard lived in Calif. I think it is interesting that I felt his passing over such a distance. We will miss him greatly.

It's difficult when you have that nagging feeling that something is 'off,' but you have no idea what to do/feel about it because there's no telling what it is. I'm sorry for your loss. My heart goes out to your family.
