Gift to your wouldbe/hubby?

friends once our marriage has settled we will start thinking about the person who is going to be our besthalf in our life and we go on giving gifts to them to show how interested we are about that person. So,we take long time to choose a small gift for him/her,because we will think of it twice,thrice and many more times whether this will be liked by that person or not. So what is your opinion about choosing gifts to your besthalf? what are the measures we have to take in choosing gifts for them? suggest the possible ways in selecting a gift? especially we can't choose a gift for gents,because there are less things for them to be selected as a gift...what do u say?
