How Important Is Saving The Environment To You?

The last few years there has been a lot of discussion and controversy about the deterioration of our environment. Are you at all concerned about the future of our world? Do you do anything at all to help conserve energy and/or save the environment? Do you recycle or reuse anything to keep things out of the landfill areas?
On the other hand, do you not worry about it so much and believe that a lot of the information that is given to us is not true and things really aren't as bad as they say?

In the first place, we people got a really big mistake in this world. We are reacting to what we have done before. Just wondering why we didn't consider these global warming in the first place? If we do that before then we don't have this issues right now.
Well, it's there already and what we can do is to create our own small way of maintaining our good environment. I have seen in Japan that they don't burn their household waste at home, they let garbage collectors get their waste. But here in Philippines, you can see in the morning or in the afternoon, specially in the province that they burn their waste at home causing a lot smoke going up in the sky.
But to answer your question, yes, I do worry about the environment right now, since the sun rays is getting hotter and hotter each year. So doing a simple waste segregation at home to have at least a small participation for the Environment.

We didn't realise the effects our industrialisation would have on the environment thats why we didn't think about its effects you have to think that the pollution of the earth's atmosphere on a large scale started with the industrial revolution here in England in the 1800s. I am concerned about the environment but on the other hand I think there are a lot of people using the genuine concern about the environment to their own advantage. I think that "green" products are now a massive business and commonly have a huge carbon footprint.
The problem is we as a race think we have a massive amount of control over things we think we're killing the earth, but we aren't the earth will adapt, other animals will adapt, we must find our way to adapt or we will be massively reduced in numbers.

I recycle everything I possibly can.I take my own bags when I go shopping and cut down on plastic bags.I filter my water and use glass bottles to carry them in.This is just a couple of things I do.Plastic drinking bottles are filling up the landfills.Do you think they are safe?

Plastic drinking bottles are proving not to be as safe as first thought. However, they can upgrade the plastic to make it safer to use, although that probably won't happen. I do hope that more use of recycling drinking bottles will happen in the future. Many are now being used to make outdoor furniture, fencing and even flooring.

It is very important to me that I do all I can to try and save the environment. If we want our kids to have a good place to grow up in then we have to start and do something now.

Saving environment is really important to me. I'm really concern about 'LIFE', everything and everyone who breathes... I always do recycle things, I always make sure I don't burn plastics... I don't litter... I take care of the animals... I help in planting trees. Actually before when I was still in high school,we have a campaign and tree planting program which influence in me Saving our environment! I just love our nature....

hi..........you ask so many things in your mesage but the matter is how to save our enviroment & protect our world from global warming ..............the answer accordin to me is in a single word IS
EDUCATION
1.EDUCATE PEOPLE WHO TO SAVE RECENT SOURCE OF ENERGY
2.EDUCATE ABOUTE REFUSING PATTERN OF REUSEABLE THING SO THAT MINIMIZE WASTE
answer of your third quistion is
3.EDUCATE PEOPLE HOW TO KNOW ABOUT BASIC RESPONSIBILITY OF OUR GOVERMENTS............

I am concerned. I am trying to reduce my impact on the environment in a lot of small ways, like by walking or taking the bus as much as possible, using less electricity, and using less water.
A lot of the things people can do to protect the environment make sense anyway - it makes sens to reuse or recycle materials, because who wants the world to be covered in garbage anyway? It's pretty easy to recycle in my city, though.
Maybe things aren't as bad as they say, but that doesn't mean we don't have a responsibility to take care of our environment.

I would rate it as pretty important. Not as important as disability service which more directly impact my life, but I am trying to reuse more items and not buy new things unless they're absolutely necessary. However, this sometimes costs me more money as I keep repairing things that should just be replaced. For example, I put $200.00 into printer repair before I finally surrendered and bought a new machine for $150.00. Really dumb move. I won't be doing that again.

when i was younger, i wasnt that worried, but the past ten years i have seen how everything deteriorated. we try our best to reuse most stuff and grow most veggies ourselves. i just dont get why governments dont care. most care about money, race or power. the past century, generations only thought about themselves. not the next generation. person by person, that can change again.

Dear friend,
For me the environment is much important as I do know an healthy environment gives a healthy people. Hence I do try my level best to use most of organic products and also hardly I use any recycling methods, but now onwards I plan to try that also. I do worry at times when many incidents and many hazardous news and informations I get from media. Also I wonder if this goes how long these better part of environment lasts. More I do also appreciate the green peace activities for protecting the earth.

hi dear wachit it is the most important thing.
well it is true that idustrialisation has created all the problems and today the governments and the environmentalists are trying to find out the ways.
sufferers are from the poorer nations.
only advanced countries should be made responsible for this and made to pay for all the damage to natural resources and creating global warming.
there is exreme danger to the flora and the fauna and even the human race is at risk.
the average life has already come down and more likely to fall down as more of the ill effects show up.
well the situation is really worst off. the glaciers in hundreds of kilometers have given way and flown down as water thus raising the level of the oceans and endangering human lives as well.
lesser said the better on the issue.
i am not so hopeful of the efforts being put in.

I really care about environment of earth but there is certainly not much i can do save environment. i do what i can do to help the environment. little things which i do will not be much useful for the environment of earth. There so many things that are done to pollute the environment and so little things are done to save environment.

In our daily life, we should pay attention to our behaviour and try not to use plastic materials and paper bags but to use cloth bags often ,i think our environment will be more and more beautiful. when you raise your head, you will see amazing blue sky like vast sea.

I do recycle and I do throw my waste on the right trash can for the proper segragation of it. I value this topic as I value my own and even other people's lives... ENVIRONMENT support life and if we DO NOT SUPPORT OR TAKE CARE OF IT... WE MIGHT BE SUFFERING THE CONSEQUENCES and might even cause our OWN LIFE! So better start as early as possible and ACT FAST or else it might be too late to do our move.
