small or large?

As you can see by my avatar, I have 5 dogs. Two big ones, a medium sized and two little ones so I guess I could say that my hubby and I like all sizes. However, we do have a preference. My hubby likes the big dogs because, like you say, he can wrestle around and play with them more. I like them because there is more to hug. I personally go for the smaller dogs. My two mini-schnauzers I can pick up and put on my lap and cuddle with. They never nip at my feet but I'm sure some breeds of dogs do. Am I a dog lover or what? LOL Have a great day! Char :-)

I prefer larger dogs as they are calmer, more docile, more cuddly (you can really fling your arms around them) and less likely to get under your feet.

hahaha,what really got my attention in your discussion was the stepping on the little dogs:)) yes,and apart of nipping at your feet they are also annoying when playing bad dogs,but if you go towards them they run away.. i think that if i had to choose, i would say i like bigger dogs also but it depends on where you wanna keep it or what you buy it for.. because some can just be cute and small around the house,and others can be usefull against thiefs or threatning people.. but i personally preffer cats:D

hahaha. i was attracted by your line stepping on dogs. well that's true especially in case of small dogs. i really like saint Bernard and rottweiler. i really love them. and i feel shy of taking small dogs out.

Dear friend, I would like to have medium type dogs not too big nor not too small maybe somewhat like a Labaurdor. I do like them to make as an obedient big animal. Moreover I do not dogs to be too small, may be it makes to treat it like a showcase baby or just for sake of pet. But those people who like it has their own reasons for that. I do like either medium or big dogs. Small dogs I do like to see them and enjoy their features.
