Removing toxins from our bodies...

My mom goes to a massage therapist and was told that if you soak your feet in 1 cup of Epson salt, in the hottest water you can stand, for 20-30 minutes each day ~ it will slowly remove the toxins from our bodies. She told my mom that you will feel new aches and pains as the epson salt works its way up from the feet through the rest of your body. Then she suggested to rub a good lotion after each soaking to help you relax.
Has anyone else ever heard of this? Does it really work?

My mom goes to a nutritionist...he said to put ginger in your bath water & take as hot of a bath as you can stand. That takes the toxins out better than Epson salt. I've done it when I've had a cold or the flu & it really works well.

I've never heard of Epsom salts in water removing toxins from your body. Now, my parents have always sworn that when they put some in bath water and soak awhile it relieves aches and pains.
