1 year anniversary! What do I get?

So nice, Happy Anniversary! Why don't you plan, aninexpensive but nice getaway, where you can both relax, and enjoy eachother. You can make resevations, to a quiet, quaint, romantic place that is close by if not right inside where you stay, and just have a great time. If goiing away isn't a possibility, pretend you are going away and go stay at a local but nice hotel and have dinner and stay the night.

I, too, would suggest a getaway, far from the madding crowd. I remember, on our first anniversary, we did that too. In my husband's organisation, there was a tradition of the youngsters, married or unmarried landing up at the couple's(whose anniversary it was) residence unannounced to wish and celebrate the event. My husband dreaded such things, though personally, I was okay with it. My husband arranged for a lovely day out, about 30 kms from our place. We booked at this lovely resort and drove down the beautiful countryside. Just the two of us. Anniversaries are very special and very private. I wouldn't really like to celebrate it with a whole lot of people at some crowded place. Why don't you give a surprise to your spouse by booking some place , a little away from where you live?
