Where have all my friends gone?

No, I don't think that it is something that you have said, I believe most of us have gotten lazy with summer being here in full swing.. I have 26 notifications in my mail box now and am almost too tired to answer any of them, but when you sounded so sad, I decided that I had better answer at least one more before quitting for awhile.. If you post, I will answer.. Sounds like a commercial, doesn't it.. I will be watching for more of your posts and will respond.. I will quit being so lazy, after I take a break.. i cant even see a number for how many friends i have. most sites when you go to your friends list, theres an amount there. i have to go just count them. wheres the # at?

Well, the longer you choose to stick around here as an Active member the more you will find this happening, I am sure. Many of us here have seen people come and go on here, and many of them were often Great friends as well. For me, that is one of the reasons I continue to start New discussions from time to time, post back to others, and look for New friends I can trust on here as well. A lot of people choose to come here for various reasons. Many will only stick around for a short short time, while others will be here the duration of this site. All I can say is it could be time for you to seek out New friends and continue to enjoy myLot and not let the small things bother you.

Hi GreenMoo, I'm still here even though I was going to take a break from posting myself as I have been busy trying to get the garden sorted and do some stuff indoors but I'm drawn hear in the evenings still anyway. I noticed over the weekend just how quite it was, very few of the usual crowd I agree. Perhaps they have all left us and gone to another site of perhaps they have all hit burnout together and taking a rest or like you say they have good weather and are out and about instead of indoors. We'll just have to chat between ourselves eh! Ellie :D

Maybe they don't return, maybe they just go a while for they have some important to do and have no time to go to mylot. I 've dispeared in mylot scince I just joined here, and I return here a month later. I think we not always have time go here to posting. But I really like here, I will come if I have the time.

Yeahm mylot sometimes is easily put aside, as you read the adverts around, you easily get into new opportunities which occasionally draw you aware from mylot-I have done that for a while, but i keep coming back because I love this site for it is very genuine!

It is also my question. i have also noticed that many users who were very active here, are still not here or posting here. may be they are taking rest or elsewhere. I have also noticed that few joined, were so much active and then dissapperaed.

Well, positiveminded is still here. But, yes, I have heard the same complaints from another friend of mine. People disappear from Mylot! Where do they go? No one knows. But that's life on Mylot... Cheers GreenMoo :)

It sometimes happens that all of a sudden you notice something like that and it strikes you in a particular way. I don't think its your friends. I think that when people have to work for so long and put in so much for just a few bucks they get tired or discouraged. Unless you're really interested in this a site like this can be a bore quite soon - too much work for too little pay. I keep on because of the interest factor and the people I'm getting to know. Other than that I might think its a dud.

I think your friends just busy for a while, when they free a bit, they may come back. You no need to worry too much.

MYLOT is a site that has its seasons. There will be persons who will be here daily and then they are off for sometimes. What one should remember is that persons has other interest and will continue to pursue those. Don't be alarm your friends will be back as soon as possible. I have not seen some of the ones I have become accustom to since being in MYLOT but I know that by next week they will be stopping by again. Just continue to enjoy yourself here.

Well maybe not for good! Some may have been busy with their jobs or studies, others might be out on trip, or others might really be taking their own sweet time in different personal matters but hopefully they will come back in time. I'm only about 2 months old here at mylot and would not really know the trend of the old users here. But, here's hoping you're friends come back here the soonest!

maybe they're just taking a break. you know, something might have came up, like an emergency, or an errand for a friend. we could never really have total control of our time even though we'd really like to. something always comes up that disrupts our planned activities and schedule. so we need to be flexible. and we also need to understand those people who might have not been mylotting for a while. and let's hope they'll be back soon. i don't think they got tired of this. i mean, why would they, it's fun here. you get to learn new things, meet friends, and most of all, earn.

No, green one, it is not you. It is the time of year, for one thing.People are outside, or on vacation. Especially friends in the States will have been celebrating a long holiday weekend. I also often see that posts drop off at the first of the month, before payout. People work like the dickens to reach payout, then they just want to coast. I am the opposite, I would like to reach payout as quickly as possible, so then I could relax at the end of the month. I was on all livelong day on Saturday. Today I had church, then came home and ate, then went to work for few hours. I had traded shifts with another worker. I have not even been online for a full hour. Things should perk up tomorrow.

hi greenmoo I am sure its nothing you said, lol, but just summer vacations and people being outside more, I have noticed a few misssing also but think its just summer time and vacations and stuff like that .. Ihave only been here about four or five months so dont really know for sure.

yes, I've noticed that too. Maybe they are now in the other social networking sites and enjoy a lot there that is why they have no time to come to mylot.

I bet that it is mostly summer. Also, some people try out a website like this and soon discover that it is not really their thing.
