Women are supposed to be more liberal when it comes to charity. It doesn't mean men are not. So, how do you donate? In cash or in kind?

I donate both ways, consistently. I donate 10% of everything I gross personally, to my church. My husband and I support various children's organizations, in smaller denominations, at least twice a year. In addition I serve at least 20 hours per week all year. I support children through our church day school and community organizations. I believe that if everyone gave something for someone else, whether it be time, talent, or treasure this world would surely be a better place.

It is other than liquid cash, simply. Few examples are books, clothes etc.

We donate a particular amountof cash each year to CRY and Ramkrishna Mission.
I particularly donate books for poor student who can not buy books.
If somebody ask me donate kinds like clothes or food, then I donate them in that way otherwise I prefer donate in cash.

I never give anything to panhandlers, but I will give clothing and quilts to an organization that provides services to the homeless. I will also send a check to a national charity which has special appeal for me. Mostly, I support the local church.
