Take a look at this scenerio,You dated a guy or girl for 5 years and later found out that he or she was cheating, you forgive him or her but then he or she later turns around to dump you citing some flimsy reasons.Years pass by and you are now the owner of a blue chip company and while sorting out CVS for new applicants to your company, you see his or her application, what will you do?

bobby28 I would refuse his application at once as a cheater in relationships could also be acheater in work relationships and I owe it to my companyto hire only the best of men for the jobs. I do not owe him or her a thing.

bobby, I agree, that you owe him or her a thing, but, if the person is a great sales person, people person or can make money, then that alone would make me want to hire him or her, even if he or she was a total jerk. I guess, again it is a thing called forgiveness and not to hold grudges. That is hard. Especially when we are hurt from someone that we love and trust. I know, I have been there done that, but, I have to think of the company and I think that if the person is good, and can profit then as a employee and only an employee they should get the chance. my opinion ty for the post

Hmmm.... I honestly don't see anything wrong with letting him apply. I mean, I'm not one to hold grudges and I've always maintained smooth friendships with my exes regardless of the reason we broke up. Besides, I've always kept in mind to separate love from work. It's worked so far. Besides, if he cheated and dumped me, it wasn't my loss but his... heheh. =)

rosedust, I agree, with you. if a guy is dumb enough to cheat, then he was not worth it in the first place. lol your wise, you separate work and love, I am not sure if that is all ways possible, but I try hard, lol

hi, that is a hard question, I guess if you have forgiven him / her, and you can get along, all my ex's I could hire, for we are friends. Even the bad ex. I think, just because we could not make it as b/f or g/f, does not mean that we could not work together, in my case my ex would be great in this type of job, and I know we would profit. So yes I would hire them, with no strings attached. ty for the question

I would be a little weary. It could cause a lot of problems.
