How do you think of Tracy Mcgrady?

Do you know Tracy Mcgrady?Yes,if you are concerned about basketball ,you must know NBA and him.I don't know hou do you think of T-Mac. Because there are lots of NBA super starts.May be you don't put him on the position of front stars again.May be you feel that he isn't NO.1 in NBA no longer.But he is still my favorite NBA start.
If he keep health ,i have no doubt that nobody can beat him.However ,unluckily ,when he enters NBA ,the hure goes with him.And that destroy the talent basketball player almost.After Hockets are beat in NBA playlffs by Jazzs,T-Mac never promote to the next round.
How do you think of T-Mac's fate?Do you think now is T-Mac's time?

I personally do not like Tracy McGrady as a player. I think that he vastly under uses is talents, and settles for way too many fade away jumpers. With his size, he should be driving to basket more. what people don't realize about McGrady is that he is about the same size as LeBron. And LeBron drives a ton, and McGrady drives...never. And also, he has never advanced to the second round of the playoffs. He chokes up when the pressure is on, and even with good teams (last years team was great), he can't carry them and he ends of choking in the clutch. then again, he has put up huge numbers, and I give him credit for that, but still, he is way worse than he should be.

Yes.I agree with something what you comment.I also think that McGrady settle for way too many fade away jumpers.This is different from KB,LeBron and himself who paly in Magic.Last years ,he didn't carry team advance to the second round of the playoffs.So that is very hard.
I hope he can advance to the second round of the playoffs this year.

I beg to differ. Tracy McGrady isn't the player he used to be with the Orlando Magic and the Toronto Raptors. Yes, he has awesome gifts in vertical leaping and athleticism, but he's aged, perhaps faster than other players do. With that process of slowing down, McGrady has lost a lot of speed and has changed his style to a less agressive one; the injuries he has suffered over the years (I don't think anyone's expecting him to complete 82 games a season nowadays, with the problems with his back) has played a huge role in moving his game away from the basket.
The compromise between McGrady's game then and now has been the range and accuracy of his shots: although he's a very good three-point shooter, he makes less shots from the distance as he would had he chosen to play more aggressively and driven more to the basket. That's only natural, as he's shooting from a farther distance than he used to.
The bottomline is: McGrady's a different player now. He still puts up huge numbers, and he still has the capacity to take over games, but he's no longer the flashy dunker, highlight-reel-type player that'd make your jaws drop in awe every time he holds the basketball and drives to the rim. He's still the franchise player, but for his team's slashing needs, they should learn to rely on someone else and only occasionally require him to penetrate the paint.

No doubt Tracy is very talented, but unfortunitely continuous hure confine his performance. besides, he didnot get enough support from his teammates. though Yao is a good player, but only two plays can not lead Houston to the championship.
