The reason I am wondering is because we are in serious straights at the moment and will soon have no money what would you do if you also were in this shape.
what would be a fast way for you to make income, that would not require that you first have the money to invest in making more money.
Have you ever been afraid that you would end up on the street because you did not have enough money? I am at that point now, I am afraid of what will happen because we have almost spent all of our money and that is so hard because we have not wasted we have been spending on bills, and the bills just keep coming and coming, if the bills would just stop that would be helpful but they bills just keep coming and even now when the bank account is nearly all empty the bills keep coming.
I feel like I can't do anything about any of this, and it is very concerning to me, would this also concern you as much as it does me.

Have you considered disability social security? I know it is not a great answer but it might be what you need. There is no shame in getting public assistance also. Call your church, salvation army, state social service organization, etc.
With the economy the way it is right now, I think many more people will be in this type of position. You have paid in for years, do not be ashamed to take a hand up when you need it.

I think that is exactly what we will be doing especially as now he has developed blood clots in his lungs, I wish he would just get better, He needs to be healthy.
Seems like if it's not one thing it's a dozen.
Thanks for your reply.
I am thinking I will apply for him since he hasn't yet and I know people who are healthier than he is who are getting it.
I mean he can not even hardly stand up or walk or anything, and he is having so many health problems and he has always worked, but now I think his body is just worn out.

You can apply for Social security disability on line and it will pay back to the day you first applied when you get accepted. It does seem discouraging when you look at the paperwork but in the end, for those of us that can no longer work a "standard" job, it is a lifesaver.
Just get started and work on it as he feels well enough.
Don't feel bad about getting help, That is why you have paid in all the years you have worked.

Hey... join the club! I've got 12 resumes out in the last 2 weeks, and way TOO many bills chasing way too LITTLE money. Sorry I can't help in your desire, but I've been desiring the same thing now, too. Best thing... start looking for work ASAP, and KEEP AT IT.

that's a good idea, but you can only put in so many per day, my husband has been putting in the maximun number per day that is allowed with unemployment office, and he has also been putting in applications online to different places, there is not very many jobs at all in this area,. and he has been keeping at it for a good long while now,
but it is discouraging that he has not found something as of yet.
