..In the Philippines, the saying which says, poor are becoming poorer and rich are becoming wealtheir, is still very much evident.. I for one observed that those who are "small" or "low" individuals are being taken advantage by those who are in power because they have the money and the power... It is very sad.. but its true.. research says that in the wealth pyramid, 97% of Filipinos are working for the 3% wealthy individuals but they are not treated fairly.. This 97% suffers and exert great effort just to please their "masters" but instead of these "masters" care for them, they let them feel even more "small" and "low". Who's fault it is then for the poor to get even poorer and the rich to get even richer?

It is true that we in the philippines described as inverted triangle that more people suffer from poverty than nurturing the life of being rich and famous. There are so many factors that made us like this. The number one(1) is our government corruption("SOME" government officials only think of themselves pocket satisfaction), second, employees has a minimal benefits coz of contractualization, low salary wage and high unemployment rate . Third, as an individual we also look at our ways of means. Some of us spend more than we earn and spend to things that are less important. I have seen people that can afford drinking liquors and gambling than spend food and education for their family and children... Its a waste of time giving blame to others even our ownself have to be blame first. But it's not healthy to have ill feeling so as a filipino we have to work out in our ownself first before others. I also believe that a person with positive auro will go a long way. We just help each other in the right way...

..yeah you're right.. thanks for the nice opinion... The thing in our country is, most of our officials are busy with thier own misuderstandings with the other officials.. everybody wants to draw the attention of the public.. It should have been better if they(officials) set aside their personal motives and unite for the development of our country..

As a respond, I would just like to say that things can only happen if we allow it...There will be no dominion, inequality, corruption, if only we don't allow it to happen...

Number one thing that affects the status of living in the Philippines is dirty politics. Officials are busy doing thier own business to become popular. Everyone wants to prove that her/his opinion is very good.. they want to rule over the other which confuses more the masses.. another thing is crab mentality. Among those who are considered poor ahve a very high crab mentality. When they see someone who's struggling to move on and improve his/her life, the more they wish to put him/her down. There is no unity.. no love for each other. very sad and very depressing but its true. Crab mentality is very evident even in our workplaces. We see our workmates as competitors and not partners because we want to be on top. This is when the term "sipsip" comes out because everyone makes his/her own way to please the superiors.
