So, I'm still new on here but have had a lot of fun so far. Is it a big deal to only have a few friends? The reason I ask, my mom started on here the day after me and has me totally beat on friend count. She has started many discussions where as I have only started one. But I have answered some. She's getting a kick out of how many friends she's gotten. She has met a lot of nice people and her discussions sre very deep. I feel left out. However, we both myspace. Oh yes, I have her beat on myspace (old highschool friends, I was quite popular). LOL!! I would like to thank everyone for being so nice to my mom!

Well, the friend count here has, as far as I know, no practical application, except that the more friends you have the more discussions you will see in the "discussions my friends started" section and/or more e-mails you will get from friends who have started e-mails, if you have mylot set up to send you e-mails for that.
