Why does it seem most discussions here are always started as a question?

If you clicked on my topic, you know by now that it in and of itself is a question. Yes, I realize that. However, my type of question is not the type of question that is in question. Um. I think.
Ok, so seriously now, with that sophomoric silliness out of the way. Why does it seem that there are so many topics posted as a question? It seems very put on, like people are just trying to develop some random thing to throw out there, just for the sake of filling bits and bytes for dollars and cents. I realize that is the concept here on some level, but fer cryin out loud, it just seems so put on. And I apologize if I am directly offending someone. It just feels to me that a real discussion is based more around someone just putting their thoughts up, and others contributing, in a real and wholehearted manner. I know that there are PLENTY of those on here. It would just be nice to see more of that kind of true to form conversation that don't start out with "What is your favorite color"? or "Who is better, Superman or Batman"? By the way, I truly just pulled those from my "you know what" so if someone has had those topics before, I do deeply apologize. It is not meant in any way to point to you as an example.
My commitment is to keeping discussions sounding just like that. Discussions.

Well, I do see what you are saying. I think you are right that many people are just trying to get posts up. It does seem rather silly to just throw out a dumb question to try and make money considering how little it pays.
But at the same time, how can you start a discussion without asking a question? You at least have to put at the end of your statements, something like: How do you feel? Do you believe this? Am I wrong?

Your honor, I submit exhibit A: How do you control your angryness?- Title of a popular discussion for Tuesday. Not only is this titled as a question, it is also misspelled? Am I asking too much of us?
Now, I ask of the defense, what happens when the title is posed as a question AND the end of the statement, as the defense has suggested, is ALSO a question? Does that not negate the entire subject at that point. Does this not force one's brain to fold inside out of itself entirely?
Seriously mclendon, if you look around at a lot of these posts, it really just looks bad. I will concede that there are times when posting a question makes sense to start a conversation, it is rare though.
This is my thought. If a person is able to create discussion with a statement as opposed to a question, that is powerful.

Your Honor? Am I the judge?
Oops! Two questions. And two sentence fragments.
Ah well.
I have been trying to think of ordinary situations where someone starts a conversation out without using a question. Hmmm....
I guess a statement that can prompt others to challenge it is a powerful way to start a discussion, but not the usual way.
And what does someone being a bad speller (angryness) or a non-english speaker have to do with anything?
Some of us can do better but this forum is open to people all over the world.
