if your mouse dint work for a day would u be able to manage?

well i am very gud in use Key board i use to work with key boardsearlier also , so fond of using it , but yes life is mess without mouse if it malfunction

I could handle it because the commands are very simple. The better question is would I want to? We all are use to using the computer a certain way and if we had to change that, even if just for a day, it would drive us crazy.

I don't think so. Haha. Although I am using a laptop so I don't really use mouse but I do need my touch pad.

This could be very cumbersome and depending on the need for that day one could find a way to make the most of windows navigation without a mouse. The most difficult one is web browsing, but for firefox there is an addon that will enable you to navigate webpages without a mouse using just the keyboard. Link would appear with numbers in it for shortcut commands.

Keyboard shortcuts are the best way to use and our father, grand father had been using them for many years. Mouse makes your life better but not perfect.

yea its easy to use there option is given in the control pannel so u can use keyboard also as a mouse the four arrow use a cursor and enter use as a single and double its very easy to use just have to know how to do...

i can't simply manage this. if i have the touch pad on l;aptop still working, still I can do so. otherwise i can't just manage it for sure.

it doesn't matter if you are regular user or not, if you know or have knowledge about the shortcuts keyboard then you can use the computer for a simple thing work, but if you working on a program like photoshop that not help you much. you can still using the numeric pad to take over the mouse function but i a little bit slow :)

id prob manage but would get sick of using kybd shortcuts.

well... i use a touchpad as i have a laptop, so i think i will be fine... but if i do not have that either, i think i will not be able to cope having no navigation device!!! hope that does not happen!!! lol..

Yes, its posible to work on a computer without a mouse. But if it was me, I would just run up to the store and buy another mouse, they're not that expensive and Fred Meyr isnt that far away from my house. Cheers, Tianna

I can do it!Keyboard have all funtion and can insteal of mouse,but there is a big problem,no mouse is really niggling.

Well I know few shortcuts, so it wont be a problem for me for a day. I wont be able to most of the games though.

its possible to use ur entire computer through the keyboard, but, thats if u know all the shortcuts. i dont think most regular users would have every short cut memorized

OH noooooooooooooooo!!!!, I can really get crazy if mouse does not respond. Though I know how to handle with key board but still....it is too time consuming and complicated and most of the things I have forgotten because we are so much use to mouse........so I take care of my mouse and see that no cat tries to gallop it............for me mouse is very important.....I have not tried new ones which are handled by fingers.....how about that.........Have you tried it.

Sure, sure, back in the day when I was tech support, I used to occasionally teach people how to use winders without a mouse, when theirs was broken.

When your aware with all the shortcuts and you got a well perform keyboard then you can manage even without a mouse. Even me sometimes use my keyboard in shifting from one page to another using my keyboard and working out in my online application using the "tab" button.

yup if person knw computer very well then for one day it can be easy to work with out mouse keyboard has so many shortcut keys which will help u
