Are You a Workholic?

yes i am. i enjoy "enslaving" myself at work. more work makes me happy not only because i love my job but moreso because i always want to be useful at work. i tend to become irritated if i have nothing to do for 2 days straight. fortunately, it hasn't happened to me in a long time.

I use to be a workaholic but since I have gotten sick and disabled I have learned what I can and cannot tolerate, to much work and not enough rest makes me ill.

Hello dear xiaojing. I think that I am somewhat a workaholic because once I start to work and get myself deeply concentrated in it, I always hate to leave my work until it is after meal time that I have already ruined my used-to-be very good stomach. Now I am trying to take good care of my stomach by trying to work overtime when it is time for meals. Thanks for your discussion, dear xiaojing.

As far as I am concerned, I am workaholic. If ever I don't have anything to do I try to find some cause if I don't do anything I feel so weak and as if I will get sick. I love working and even when at work I can also do some things beyond my duty.

Perhaps workaholic is not the right word to describe my passion for work. I just do love to work and am a perfectionist. I work to the best of my ability and want the best results out of it. I also work long hours but I know when to stop and how to give myself a break.

Hi I think I am not workholic. But I enjoy my work and do that sincerely and with satisfaction. I like my office and my work and its atmospere. I feel satisfaction and enjoy others say that I am doing a good job and they are benefitted by my work and all. I like to continue to work like this and involve my 100% while I am working but I don't like to spoil my family life for work. I always try to maintain a work life balance.
