Avenged Sevenfold

Avenged sevenfold released a new album in 2007. there my favorite band and i like most of their music, but the new album really sucks, it's not even metal like the rest of there music. they were a popular band and they were making some pretty good money. they tour with a bunch of really good bands and a lot of people liked them but they just go and release an album with a completely different genre of music. what's up with that?

City of evil was quiet and wasn't all screaming like the previous two albums...the next album after city of evil was entitled plain "avenged sevenfold" which is the one you're talking about but its not a completely different genre at all...it's a mixture of both like melodic metal. Diamonds in the came out in '08 and it's awesome as well. Everyone still enjoys their music even though it has changed. M. shadows doesnt scream as much anymore due to some serious vocal problems in the past :\
