What is Your Desktop? / myLot

I am a conventional girl and once I held that desktop should be landscape picture or windows default pictures,lol.But soon I had my opinion changed,desktop is a personal choice,what you like and you put it top. So my pictures keep changing,from caroon characters to landscape pictures,they are in bright color and very simple drawing,make me feel fresh or joyful when i open computer. By the way I never put my photo on desktop. So what about you,my friends?What is your desktop?

well, I used to change my desktop frequently but soon get tired.I realize it's just the icons on the desktop I really concern.Besides, when i'm operating the computer, desktop seldom comes out,all i see are web pages.So i have kept this one for a long time.

I have a photo of flamingos on my desktop right now. I took the photo last week at the zoo when I went with mys sister and her son. The flamingos are pink and very pretty I love turning on my computer and seeing different photos that I have taken.

My desktop usually is some cute cartoon animal, right now I use Magnetic for my wallpaper and screensaver, but I used to make my own wallpapers until I found Magnetic and got lazy.

My desktop is not a picture,but just a grey desktop. I think this is good for my eyes.(My eyesight is bad.) And I don't like the desktop being full of files,so this is nothing but a dustbin on it.

xiaojing1226 I also started out with the ideal that desktop should be with very little items but... As time goes on I started to put one item of todo list there, then it came to be a frequently used file and before I knew it , my desktop is full of things!! Got to clean it up. I recently saw an Apple launch video where they showed STACKS (or similar name) where items disappear into a small bunder or stack and when one puts a mouse over it - the stacks expand and show the items. I would love to have that - if someone came across a free program that allows for that quickly contact me - I'd love that. The background picture at my desktop is of not too bold colours so I can see the documents placed on my desktop.
