I'm from China. and it is really an aproposity to be here. i saw somobody made a discussion in a forum and he said it is a good place to practice your English and earn extra money. i doubt about its truth. free lunch? Is there a so good place? Because of my curiosity, I have a try, and now i am here.
I believe i'm a lucky dog. this is really a free lunch for me. i can communicate with others in English which language i have learned for decade but i never used it except for examination. and i am intrested in it.i can make friends with you, different kinds of people from different places.
But now i have questions for you.
Where are you from? and how do you get here?
If you are a native English friend, have you ever saw some discussions which have sereval serious solecism or strange expressions? What's the thought in your mind? or do you mind? Because i'm sure there is some mistakes in my discussion.

hi your english seems fine to me, it's the second language for many countries, we had to learn indonesian at school not that i went far in that. help if the language teacher spoke better with it. the thing i don't like as much is different people talking in their own language, cause who knows what it's about and it could be about you for all you know. it's the way soceity is going. i'm getting used to an asian accent, with dealing with the companies that have different people. but a strong accent can be hard to understand, even when from and english speaking back ground.
i'd be glad to talk with you, i'm man aussie by the way.

not everyone understands our slang, and aberviations. no body is perfect any way and it depends on how much you get to speak english as well. the more you have a chance to speak it the better you'll be at it. so in here is a great way to practice.
i'll tell you a worse story, i started work straight out of school and the place where i worked did exchange people, any way we had a brazilian come. the russia was back and he spoke english fine. but this brazilian didn't speak much english at all, making life very hard, like the russian would translate it in to russian and then relay it to us. as the 2 languages were simluar to an extent. he didn't last long with us.
at least you know what we're talking about and not making things up it's hard to describe soem of our words sometimes and they way the english language is.

hey, i'm from the philippines, a country from southeast asia and near china. most of the people here can speak english because since we are young, our parents already taught us how to speak english. and when we go to school we have a subject english and most of the language we use in schoool are english words. philippines is just a 3rd world country but the people here are nice and easy to deal with. there are also a lot of beautiful places to go here. maybe you can visit us here soon...

hello there catsender!
i am from the philippines. to get to china i would need to take a plane. i think it's a couple of hours or more to reach your country.
english is my primary language though it is supposed to be "filipino" because i am a native in this country but my mom was an english teacher and would require us her children to speak english all the time. reason behind this is because our grandparents are all english-speaking. they all stayed/grew up in the united states before they retired and returned home to my country.
as i read through your discussion, i didn't really find anything wrong. if there is one, i probably didn't notice it or i already understood what you were trying to say.
it will be my pleasure to be your friend. and i am impressed with you. for a chinese like you, your english is great! :)
happy mylotting! :)
