hi friends! yesterday center court witnessed one of the greatest matches of all time between spaniard refeal nadal and swiss roger federer in the wimbledon finals.it was a five set thriller.nadal won the first two sets with supreme confidence. then rain came in the third set which made federer re group himself. he won the third set in the tie-breaker. the fourth set witnessed one the greatest tennis shots you can ever see. federer won in the tie-breaker though nadal had two match points. this shows federers class and why he is regarded as number 1 and also one of the best players in the grass(wimbledon). wimbledon rules say that final set should not have tie-breakers. this made the contest even more interesting.it was 7-7 before nadal broke federer serve with his blistering fore-hand cross court. having said that nadal had two break points in the federers serve but he somehow managed to create a duece. thats federers ability.federers unforced error made nadal win that game. with nadal serving for the championship gave the first point to federer. even the great nadal made an unforced error to federer. but he was too good for federer has he made federer produce an error into the shot with an spinning volley. at last one cannot control the in evitable. it was a great match. if at all there is some match where match can be drawn is this match. federer in the interview said he tried all shots but nadal was just too good.it all strated at 7 pm IST when i lokked at the watch i was 2 am in the morning. indeed it was a great match and fabulous tennis played by two rivals not between themselves but for the fans and media.nadal after winning the wimbledon medal bit the cup in his own usual way.he was out of the world in the emotion by the way he showed after winning.one cant say now that nadal cant play in the wimbledon. what do you feel about the match.post your comments!!!
