has anyone tried to buy cheap made in china or chinese brand dv cams?

Do you recommend it? I own a high end mini dv cam but I am thinking of buying an extra dv cam for skating. I know that these chinese brand dv cams are easy to use coz most of them can be used with mini sd and other memory cards which can easily be transfered to a computer. I want one so I can bring it with me when skating.

As I known, abundant of consumer electronic products are made in china, like apple, samsung, olympus, cannon, sony, philips etc.. So i think it is normal thing to choose chinese products.

ah I know that but these chinese brands that are on the market are so cheap , have you tried it? I only want to try it because I don't want to spend more money in buying a real high end cam.

I think its normal already to buy china made product because they are every where.But better check the product first because there might be some factory defects and you will find a hard time replacing it i think.And besides there products are economical so for a wise spender i would suggest but their products.
