Just a funny observation I've made about this site.

I agree that money is a great incentive to be nice and it does make this a nice place to discuss all kinds of things. I used to visit a divorce board where everyone was arguing about things like custody and child support and, try as I might, I could not manage to have a civilized discussion with the posters who didn't share my views. Mylot is a very welcome change.

i think thats so true. like right now... i can tell you what an idiot you are and thats a stupid observation, but i wont :) i dont really know why anyone would say anything rude anyway, i mean... if you can find a discussion worth talking about and you have experience in that "field" then... talk about it, while getting money. its a place where everyone can say what they feel and if you think the discussion is not worth talking about, then just look for something else. thats my opinion.

yes that might be true, but not 100% because i have seen people here,and i include myself in that, who didn't always agree with all the discussions or responses, and if we found them offensive we would immediately tell that person.. or, i even saw some sort of fights between people who had different opinions... they are indeed more rare than in normal topics, but i guess it's all for the best... we usually need an impulse to be nice to one another,and if in this case it's the money, then even better.. at least money managed to create a community where people help each others and where people are interested in what others have to say. and it happens in our daily life too, which human being serves the community,society, withouth being payed? the person who serves you in a bar is payed.. the person who serves you in a store is served..even the shrinks are payed, to listen to us and try to figure out what's wrong. sadly,we live in a world ruled by money
