What is the most you've paid for dinner per plate at a restaurant?

I am a regular viewer to the food network television channel. Sometimes I see some of the most extravegant meals on there. Even though I have only splurged at restaurant chains such as the Olive Garden and Red Lobster, I have always wondered what the meal prices at some of those expensive french restaurants are. You know, the ones that serve snails and caviar. If you've ever been to one, could you enlighten me as to how much it costs and whether or not you thought it was worth the money?
