Wow! Usually if someone found such a thing, they would either keep it, give it to a spouse/S.O. as a gift, or try to sell it for money. I think it's wonderful that this guy would go to such lengths to find whoever actually owns the ring.
Was this a story on the news? Do you have a link for it? I'm very curious about how that will turn out.

Wow what a guy, returning something like that to the owner, if that was me I would have went to the jewelry store and sold it...
