i have a spelling problem and need help to rectify it. it is so embarassing when you miss spell a word.if any one have a suggestion i'll appreciate so much.

Well, I guess you could do more practice on your spelling and ask friends or family members who are better in spelling to help and assist you in your spelling. A dictionary would come in handy as well, because you can always refer to it when you are in doubt of the way to spell a certain word.
By the way, you don't have to feel embarassed when you mis-spell a word on mylot because we people here are generally very considerate and we won't condemn people just because of one error like that. Besides, mylot is really a good place to learn how to be better in English so don't be ashamed or embarassed about it, dear. We are humans too, and humans make mistakes....sometimes we make typo errors and that's considered normal.

try to use the dictionary if u forget about the spelling, it'll help, i sometimes use it too if i forget about the spelling :) i usually type the words on my dictionary program, then search for the meaning, if i spell it right, i can get the meaning, i know it's not the best way since it's lack in efficiency, but at least i can help a bit :P maybe it's better to look at the dictionary book, it's faster i think, good luck

My mom used to say " Look it up" That helped improve my spelling dramatically. Get yourself a desk dictionary. It will help for certain. Another thing you can do is use spell check on the computer. You will pick up correct spelling from it too.

Have you tried buying a dictionary and practicing spelling a word? If you do this, it will help out with your spelling. You can also allow someone to quiz you on your knowledge of words.. With spelling.. This could do a lot.. I hope that everything works out for you.

If you have spelling problem with just some words, just ask your friends for correct spelling and learn them.If You have spelling problem with a lot of words try reading the dictionary or a story book once in a while.Later you will get through.
