Prince Charles and Dracula

Weird fact...Prince Charles is distantly related to Vlad the Impaler (Dracula) Does this surprise anyone else? Kind of surprised me, altho, I guess it shouldn't have considering all blood royalty ties are kind of mixed with one another in some way or another.

I would not be surprised if most of the royal families inEurope are distantly related to Vlad, & maybe each other. In those days, & I believe it might still be tradition today, royalty only married royalty, even if they needed to find their mates from the royalty of other nations.

My husband's family tree goes back to Vlad the Impaler so I wonder if this means that he's connected to Prince Charles?? Ahhhh life is so amazing!!!! :)

Now that you mention it, Charles does look pretty pale....
Way way up my family tree on my father's mother's side is King Edward VI, which makes Henry VIII a very distant cousin. If I ever decide to commit mass murder that's going to be my defense.
