I have heard that people are on this deit called negative calories. What I am looking for is maybe a mixutre of diets that will work for me. So what is negative calroies, and is there something that I could eat everyday that would be good for me?

I think what they may be referring to are foods that take more calories to eat than they contain. One such food is celery. A stalk of celery has hardly any calories, but it takes a little bit to chew it properly, therefore you'd burn more calories than the food contained...making them negative calories. I'm sure other vegetable would fall in this category. Maybe cucumber or pickles, and such. You can probably find a list of the foods online.

Thank you. I was not sure what it was for. I did look up online a list of the stuff that would count as negative calories. One of them was an apple. I cant get over how it takes more calories to burn the food then what is in the food. i find that pretty amazing.

Personally, I would check the carbohydrate counts of the foods too. Even though a food is low in calories it can still be high in carbs. Apples are low calorie but are not something a diabetic would want to eat many of because they have higher carb counts that other fruits.

hi - negative calories means that it takes more calories for your body to process the food than the amount of claories the food actually has..therefore, it results in weight loss...Veggies such as Asparagus, zuchini, cucumers etc...they have negative calories.....Fruits that have negative calories include pineapple, cantaloupe, watermelon....But becarful b/c these fruits have tons and tons of sugar...so people shouldn't overload on them..
