What reasons are there that prompts a happily committed man (married, engagaged, in a long term relationship-- they have a kid together) to cheat?
Is it just because it's a normal occurence (guys will be guys-polygamous) or it's just not possible if the guy is really satisfied with the woman they're with?
Is having a fling (that lasted for a year and a half) means that the guy loves his wife/fiancee/gf less or it simply does not affect his love for his partner?

I think it means he does not love her at all...or doesn't trully love her. And they are not happily committed if they cheat. It may sound as simple as black and white to me but this is how I look at it....cheaters and liars have no need in my life. I do to others as I expect done to me. If I respect someone enough to own up to the truth, like a relationship going down the tubes then I expect the same. It might be hard but I would walk away and not look back.
And that's not to say it coul dnever happen to me...it could and it might. But I love myself more than to accept less.
