Bratz are not to bad of a price. I have seen things worst in price besides Bratz. Thanks again for the idea. Bratz or Barbies is a great idea for gifts!

Mine is not geared toward toys, but if you want something she could make for herself to cherish for the rest of her life ~ then buy a scrapbook, supplies to decorate it, and wrap it up for her, so she can create whatever type of scrapbook she may like.
Someone else already suggested a diary ~ I like to buy the lined journals and decorate them up to give out to those who love journaling. Write a special note on the inside cover from just you to her.
Those would be things I would truly treasure for the rest of my life.

Books are always good, so are Barbies. If she likes animals try The Littlest Pet Shop. The littlest pet shop is really cute.

My daughter is about the same age. She just turned eight but when she was seven she loved Brats and still does. Books also. She loves to read and started asking for them at 5...though at that time the words were just that words. Now she reads them becasue she loves them and understand them.

As a child begins school, sports and other activities, his world grows in scope. 5 to 7 year olds are discovering who they are outside of the home, where their interests and strengths lie, and what the world holds for them. Help encourage their curious minds and developing sense of independence by seeking out a gift that fits their unique personality.

What does she like? I have two little step-granddaughters. The 7-year-old wants boy toys. The 5-year-old loves dolls and anything girly. It helps if you know what your little girl prefers before you start looking. When I know kind of what I'm looking for, I go to Amazon.com and type it into the search box.
