I really didn't realize the change my body made until I made this before and after picture. So I am asking you all your opinion. How do you think I did on my weight loss? Do you think I need to lose more?
I'm a little over 10 lbs. away from my goal of 150 but I'm starting to think it won't be enough to change my appearance. Your comments and suggestions are welcomed.
For those newbies, you have to click on the picture to enlarge it in a new window.

Pics don't come with email alerts, so I have to respond, and then get to the discussion proper that way.
I'll be back! Gotta post this and check out the pictures first.

Cyn, I"m so proud of you. You look terrific and will make a voluptuous beautiful bride - the very best kind!!!!
And do show off that ankle tattoo - I love it!
As for suggestions - you don't need any. You've done brilliantly on your own and it shows.
Wanna date............................?

Oh Cyn sweety you look so gorgeous - I am bigger than you were to start with and I think you look great in all of them! You are going to be so stunning at the wedding and will put every other bride of this year to shame!
As for advice well I don't have any - seems to me that you are doing fantastically well on your own! Please though don't try and lose more weight - I think you could end up looking TOO thin if you do!
I will be thinking of you this week - know you must be very nervous - I wish you every bit of happiness you could ever hope for yourself! Can't wait to see the photos and all the matching outfits and of course , the matching smiles! Hugs xxx

I think you look great in all the pics. Going by the July pic, I don't think you need to lose anymore weight ....but hey..it's your body and if you think you need to...you need to.
And you've done great on your weight loss program.
I lost about 5 kgs at one shot in a month without even trying when I started work...lol.
Handling one kid is easy...but try handling 20 of them together.....it's a lot of physical exercise and might help you to lose weight sooner:)

You go girl! YOu look awesome and it hasn't taken you long either. What program are you on to loose weight?
It was smart to take pictures along the way to see your hard work actually paid off.

I'm not on any traditional program like weight watchers or anything like that. I took it upon myself to start taking kick boxing classes and step classes and do an hour of cardio workout a day(EVERY DAY)and I dropped my calories from 2000 to 1800 and stopped drinking soda.
I didn't plan on taking the pictures along the way that is why I don't have any from May when I started this and I had to go the whole way back to December to get a full body shot of myself.

wow. you look great! How did you do it? You seemed to slim down a lot from June to July as well. Taht's really good. I've been trying to shed a few pounds because I want to look better. Everyone says I'm fine but I think all that matters is my opinion. I have to be fully comfortable in my own body.

Everyone always told me I was fine too. I wasn't happy being fine. Fine has never been good enough for me so I started taking step classes and kick boxing classes and lowered my calories from 2000 to 1800 and BAM! Off came the inches as well as the pounds.

Honestly, I dont even know you, but I am so proud of you!! You wanted to do something, and you did it. A lot of us need to stop making excuses for ourselves and just get down to business (myself included lol). Seiously, great job. Something simple as losing weight can be inspiring.

You have done an amazing job on your weight loss!
I can't tell you that you need to lose more or not because weight loss is about you. You have to do what will make you happy. If you are happy with the way you look and feel at your current weight, then you should stay there. If you aren't quite that happy yet, then keep going. Only you know what makes you truly happy. You are beautiful either way.
I don't know if it's because I'm on the same journey in weight loss or not, but I see a big difference between the first you and the final you. It is gradual, but you can definitely see it. You look happier as the pictures progress as well. Maybe soon I'll be able to post my own gradual change in pictures as it occurs. Keep up the good work Cyn!!!

If I ever fall off the wagon and have to take this journey again at least this time I know the right way to do it. It doesn't seem like I started that long ago but I can tell immediately when I put out a pair of jeans that I had to grease up my legs with crisco to get into in February slide on with the button still closed now.
yeah, its time for a new wardrobe.

Okay, I think I want to take you out back and beat you up!!!
Seriously, I am very proud for you, go ahead and lose the other ten pounds, not that you need too necessarily but because you said you set a goal.
Besides, ten pounds will look like a lot on a smaller body, you might be surprised at what that ten pounds will look like when they're gone.
Again, proud for you.

I had to stop after losing only 2 more of those last 10. Seriously I have boxes of clothes in my attic from before I got pregnant with my second child 7 years ago that are nearing the "need to wear a belt to keep them over my butt" phase. Looks like I must maintain this weight until I have the money to go out and buy ALL new clothes. lol

I do feel that way. I just did a 19 mile hike the end of June and I am signed up to compete in a 5 mile run, 12 mile bike race, and obstacle course the beginning of September.
If anyone had told me last summer I would be doing these things this year I would have laughed in their face. Now I have no doubt I can do it! I guess mind over matter really does win out in the end.

I take a kick boxing class every Tuesday and a Step aerobics and pilates class every Thursday and I dropped my caloric intake from 2000 calories a day down to 1800 calories a day. I also stopped drinking soda. It's not easy but I'm proof that it works. I also do 1 hour of cardio work every day, and it could be as simple as playig Dance dance revolution or just jumping rope.
If no place in your area offers step classes WalMart.com sells a step that comes with a dvd workout that you can do in your living room. Trust me...step classes will tone your butt and thighs before you know it!

You last photo looks better than the others. You look great and I don't think you should loose anymore weight because if you do then that would be over doing it. Its like the more you loose the more you want but trust me you look fantastic and just maintain your weight now. If you don't mind me asking how did you do it?? I need to loose 20lb after giving birth and I just cant find the right "diet"

It's not easy especially with kids but I've found something that works for me. Good luck to you!

Ey. Great improvement! Keep it up as long as you don't sacrifice your health and your happiness. What's there to diet for when you're not happy about yourself anyway?
