Jesus says I am in the Father and he is in Me. So once you pray to God you are praying through Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ is the mediator between Man and God and we cannot go straight to God because of our sins. So you saying that you often pray to GOD and doesn't know Jesus is telling me that you does not understand what you are talking about. JESUS instruct us how to pray, you can say the OUR FATHER this is the most effective prayer and you can also repeat PSALMS 23. No one have to teach you how to pray. God see and know your problem talk with him whole heartly and if you want to cry then do so this is a language God understand. Talk with him tell him all be respectful and truthful. Remember he knows us before we were weaned in our mother's womb and he does know how problems. You said you have faith, the bible says if you have faith as small as a mustard seed and say move mountain it shall be move.
