I'm applying for a part-time job at the local cinema for some extra money and I don't think they require some experience but still, I have none. On the application form they ask for at least 2 references and well, the only job I've done is a paper run with a friend a couple of years ago. I don't think my chances will be good without reference and the who making money off the internet thing isn't going to well. XD Could anyone here offer any ideas as to what I could do about this?

You dont have to put employers as your refereces specially if you have none! It wouldn't make sense to the one reading your resume, would it? No experience and yet you have employer references. Ask permission form former teachers, pastor, a family friend who is also a business owner of some sort as your reference. Keep in mind that they might actually get a call from your prospective employers to ask about you so talk to them first. It's no big deal really. Some just ask for them for formality.Just get a job and the references will start piling up.

Does, it ask for personal or professional references.
If it doesn't, you may want to use maybe a family member or a close friend. If you go to church, your clergy man would be good for a reference.
Hope you get the job. Job hunting is tough, and employers make it tougher to get the job.
good luck

If you're still in school or recently left, you could ask a teacher who knows that you're reliable. If your parents have friends who have known you for a few years they could vouch for your honesty etc. - or if you've ever belonged to a youth club/activity group perhaps the organisers would let you use their names. Other possibles include your family doctor. Good luck with the job!
