Best venues for concerts

I like outdoor contests the best. Being in the lawn, too, not in seats or anything like that. And it has to be good music you can groove to. I've seen Tom Petty, Phish, P Funk & a few others outside and they were all awesome!
After that, I like the small coffee shop type gigs. I don't know why, but music in small places that is not too loud is so much better to me than being crammed in a stadium or arena or auditorium or anything else.
I haven't been to any concerts in a long time. I might have to start a post about that!

That is exactly what I like. I have never been on the lawn for them always been in the seats but I think being outside just energizes the crowd so much especially in the summer where its warm and there is a nice breeeze. I dont really like being crammed into a stadium it is really loud and people are so close together. Sounds like a good post to start!

Outdoor venues work for me, since when sitting ouside I don't have to worry about lousy accoustics. Quite often indoor cocerts are a little too loud for me.

That is what I am finding that inside conderts are a little loud for people. I also find that cramped, and stuffy and very hot. I think that outside its just nice with the breeze and people arent as stuffy or hot.
