What do cell phones have to do with popcorn?

Thats what I would like to know, what effect does it have? My 10 year old neice wanted a cell phone until I showed her that video...now shes afraid that a cell phone will turn her brain to popcorn.....lol

Actually the video is fake. I didn't know until after I posted it. If you go to snopes you can read about it. So tell your niece there's nothing to worry about.

I didnt think it was real, but then again you never know..lol I will be sure and tell her but I think she has got her mind made up that cell phones arent the way to go....atleast until she hits her teenage years...lol Thanks for the info ! :-)

I think I was able to watch this in the news a few weeks ago. i think it has something to do with the infrared rays concentrated on the popcorn kernel. I find it amazing actually, having such an experiment.

It looks so real. Hard to believe that it is fake. I am glad it is fake....it would be scary...
