Myspace actually did the opposite and repelled me, after seeing a few pages with hideous backgrounds and godawful music. I came to the conclusion that it was full of people I had nothing in common with. I've not seen much to dispel this.
Facebook I signed up for socialising articles I write, and eventually ended up with my friends and family from the UK on there when I emigrated.
Blogspot I use simply for linking articles from multiple sites.
Livejournal I actually use as a journal when I bother to write in it, which isn't as often as I used to. Life is fairly static at the moment.
del.icio.us, stumbleupon, reddit, digg, and probably a couple of others, I use as a combination of bookmark storage and article socialisers.
AC and Helium I joined for the green folding stuff, and for somewhere to keep my hand in at writing. Same reason for ficlets, only without the money ;)
There's links to all of these in my profile if anyone's feeling an urge to look; Follow the top banner to the blogspot blog, and everything's linked from there.

I am a member of friendster and multiply.. these were a ways of communicating with my old friends, getting in touch with them.. and there's lot of blogs there that I am fond of reading..
I am not a member of myspace, for there's only few Filipino who are logging in there.
